Directions

The Granville Island Turkey Trot Expo, Start Line and Finish Line is located near Performance Works at 1218 Cartwright St. Please allow plenty of time for travel and gear check. The 10KM race will start at 8:30am sharp. On race day, there will be no vehicle access to Granville Island from 8am-9am (view road closures) and free parking is available on Granville Island until 1pm. The Kids Run is Sunday and starts at 11am with the Expo also at Performance Works.

By Car

If you are driving from Downtown, the best option is to take Richards St to the Granville Bridge/BC-99, then onto Anderson St. If you are arriving from the East, take Cambie St, then turn left on W 6th Ave and then slightly right onto W 4th Ave before continuing onto Granville Island. Parking is free on Granville Island until 1pm on race day when you park next to Performance Works. Reminder: there is no vehicle access to the Island 8am-9am race day. The 10KM race starts at 8:30am.

By Transit

Visit translink.ca to find your best route to the race. If you are planning to take the bus from downtown, hop on the #50 S False Creek that departs from Granville & West Georgia. If travelling from the East, take the #15 Olympic Village Stn SB bus that departs from Cambie & Broadway. Please plan your trip in advance as transit schedules and routes are subject to change.

By Bike

Bicycle routes to Granville Island follow the main car routes, and there’s a pleasant, scenic bicycle path along the Seawall. The RUNVAN® society has arranged for free bike valet for you on race day near the Expo and Start Line at Performance Works.
