The Granville Island Turkey Trot is a hallmark event for Granville Island and the Vancouver run community.
The event includes an official Start Line, Finish Line, timing and race results. You’re encouraged to arrive at least one hour prior to your race and enjoy a pre-race warm-up near Performance Works. Washrooms are available near the Start Line. Beverages, food and entertainment will also be seen during the Finish Line Festivities. Check out the food tent outside Performance Works, and stay for the great vibes. Share your excitement online @runvancanada #runvan.

The Start Line, Finish Line and Festivities are located near Performance Works at 1218 Cartwright St.
Drivers
If you are driving from Downtown, a great option is to take Richards St to the Granville Bridge/BC-99, then onto Anderson St. If you are arriving from the East, take Cambie St, to W 6th Ave and turn slightly right onto W 4th Ave before continuing onto Granville Island. Parking is free on Granville Island until 1pm on race day. Reminder: there is no vehicle access to the Island 8am-9am race day for the 8:30am 10KM start.
Transit commuters
Please visit translink.ca to find your best route to the race. If you are planning to take the bus from downtown, consider hopping on the #50 S False Creek that departs from Granville & West Georgia. If travelling from the East, consider the #15 Olympic Village Stn SB bus that departs from Cambie & Broadway. Please plan your trip in advance as transit schedules and routes are subject to change.

The Aquabus provides frequent, daily passenger ferry service to all majors destinations in False Creek however sailings. For schedule information and fare options, please visit theaquabus.com
Bicycle
Bicycle routes to Granville Island are available, and there’s a pleasant, scenic bicycle path along the Seawall. RUNVAN® has also arranged for free bike valet on race day next to the festivities near Performance Works.
