Granville Island Turkey TrotCelebrate Thanksgiving
The Granville Island Turkey Trot Kids Run invites kids to experience the race day excitement. This run inspires kids to get moving, make healthy choices, and feel confident. Each child receives a race bib, medal, and tasty snacks provided by the non-profit RUNVAN. This positive, memorable experience is open for kids aged 6-13 years old. The Kids Run is also timed. The Kids Run returns Thanksgiving Monday, 8:50am.. New this year, celebrate at the Kids Tent with host Petite Forêt Play Café. Kids with race bibs may collect one medal, and one serving of each food item. Prizing for Best Costume. Plus, the timed event features awards inside Performance Works at 9:05am for Top 3 overall Kids 6-9, 10-13. Thanks to the Kids Market for also donating prizes.
Jocelyne Chéné in 4:13 and Gustavo Polzen in 3:46 were the inaugural champions.
